My name is Karin Horen. I’m a mum to three children who lives in Auckland, New Zealand (Since 2009). I am a Kiwi – Jewish – Israeli. Previously, I lived in Sydney Australia where I studied for my Master Degree in Marketing. I hold a bachelor degree in Communication and Political Science from Bar Ilan University, Israel. In addition, I hold a certificate in Healthy Thinking from the Healthy Thinking Institute in NZ, and the Unbreakable Business System certificate (Grant Cardone). Currently, completing my diploma in Counseling and Psychology.
Currently self employed Resilience and Growth Coach, Public Speaker and group sessions facilitator.
My background is marketing, sales and communications.
A bit of background :
Life is all about opportunities. I am a qualified fitness instructor (in addition I completed a Stand Up Paddleboarding instructor certificate).
In 2019 I published my book ” I am more than just my tits” which tells my two times breast cancer journey and life story.
My personal experience has led me to become a philanthropist, who co-created and established the first cancer rehabilitation program on the water ( PaddleOn) and the fundraiser Paddle For Hope, and raised funds for breast cancer awareness and cancer rehabilitation globally.
I grew up in Israel, and served in the 8200 Intelligence unit between 1991-1993.
Bringing people together and building communities is my passion.

Since October Seven, I have taken upon myself to take part in advocacy in Auckland for the Israeli community, organize events, vigils and billboard campaigns. I strongly feel that my purpose is greater than what I have done until now and would love to help more people from my experience, to achieve a better quality of life.
