Mindful Self-Compassion Group for Therapists with Shari Geller

This group is offered for psychologists, psychotherapists and emotional support workers who are meeting and helping people with trauma from the war in Isreal. Therapists and emotional support workers themselves are not only feeling the pain of others they are supporting, yet many of us are also directly impacted by the trauma of the war and have experienced multiple losses. Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is a way of approaching our pain and vicarious and experienced trauma with kindness and compassion. This group will offer an opportunity to learn to relate to our pain with compassion, through engaging with self-compassion practices. It also allows for a sense of common humanity, by practicing and being in a group with other therapists and emotional support workers. Together, we can bring kindness and compassion to ourselves, which helps others we work with and contributes greater compassion to the world around us.

Group meets on Mondays (monthly) 18:00-19:00 PM Israel time
