Developing a trustworthy therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, understood, and safe is my greatest priority and what I believe allows for therapy to be most effective. It cannot be emphasized enough that progress is not linear, that life happens, and that we cannot always control what comes at us. Although I have many years of education and training in mental health, I believe that individuals are the experts on themselves, which is why I see therapy as a collaborative process between clinician and client; I aim to help people help themselves while serving as a guide and support throughout the process.
